Community Information
St James City, located at the southern end of beautiful Pine Island, has a lot to offer! There is always something going on in this fun little town. There are 5 restaurants and bars, always offering a wide array of live music, many of which are accessible by boat!
St James City also has a wholesale fish market open to the public so that you can always have the freshest seafood on your table. The Civic Center also offers numerous clubs and classes year round. If fishing is what you are after, this is a great place to be. You are less than 3 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and the beautiful beaches of Sanibel, Captiva, North Captiva and Cayo Costa Islands are also easily within reach by boat.
Directions
Take state road 78 west until you reach Pine Island Center. Turn left onto county rd 767 (Stringfellow Rd) and proceed south approximately 8 miles to reach St James City proper.
