This unit features 2 master bedrooms on the top floor with the living quarters on the main floor featuring a 1/2 bath. Come and relax in a beautiful, comfortable townhouse apartment located in a private enclave surrounded by canals and private boat docks. This town home has an AMAZING view of Pine Island Creek and Matlacha Pass. Boat out into the waters around Cayo Costa, Northern Captiva and the Gulf and see the peaceful sky of a Florida sunrise, or relax by one of the TWO heated pools/spas. Spend your day on the tennis courts (2) or the nearby golf course! Learn about the history of the island as you wander through the artist shops at nearby Matlacha. Eat at a fine dining restaurant, or wear your sandals to the local seafood shack. It's all waiting for you! This spacious accommodation has covered parking on the ground floor and is close to the canal dock. The first floor offers a living room, dining room and kitchen with full laundry, as well as a half bath. The second floor is a very quiet sleeping area with both Master and Guest bedrooms (each with their own full bathrooms).

 This was our 5th visit in unit N-1, so we must like it pretty well. We enjoy the view, proximity to water, fish, birds, dolphins. Twice we watched dolpins chasing fish less than 50 yards from the lanai. Always see bald eagles and roseate spoonbills, not to mention ospreys. Also saw a pair of sea otters playing in the yard within 30 yards. We appreciate the new owners upgrading to HDTV and wireless internet, and a nice new grill. Nice to have the new kayaks too, but we never got around to using them. We have stayed at several units in Blue Crab Key over the last ten years, and find it to be uniquely quiet, welcoming and friendly. Grounds are immaculate, pools clean and warm. I can fish for tarpon with a fly rod in the canals surrounding the property from the boat docks. I have caught them up to three feet long,juveniles, but still fun and easy. I like to bicycle, and always do the length of the island several times, 32 miles round trip...and never have to ride on the road.   All positive so far. Just a few small things we would suggest owners address. Drain valve in upstairs vanity needs to be repaired or replaced. Inside handle of storm door pulls off, and needs latch replaced. Kitchen sink valve needs replacement. Lanai sliding door wheels and track need some TLC also. At some point this unit needs some major rejuvenation such as paint, rugs, some furniture and it would be really nice to get the fine mesh no see-um screens.  Small things, not deal breakers.  The property descripton is acurate. Pine Island Real Estate did a great job, including getting me in the house after I locked myself out within ten minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone who is not glitzy ;-) it's very casual on the entire island. Be sure to eat at Red's, Tarpon Lodge, Lazy Flamingo, and Micelli's and Blue Dog in Matlacha. Best beer with a view is at Bert's.  Overall we love staying in this unit, at Blue Crab Key, Pine Island,and will be back many more times for sure! ~ N. Brenner
